About
Le Onze Francilien covers football in the Paris region, and nothing else: PSG, Paris FC and Red Star, then the other clubs of the region. Every club gets the same care.
It is an independent site. It is not affiliated with, supported or endorsed by the clubs or competitions mentioned.
Where the data comes from
Scores, fixtures, tables, squads and player ratings come from specialist sports data providers. Each block of data shows the time of its last update. Live scores may run a few minutes behind.
If a source stops responding, the site shows the last known data with its update time, rather than an empty page.
Club news
Each club's news section is a feed of headlines, read from the club's official feed when it has one, or from a news aggregator otherwise. The site shows the headline, the time and the name of the outlet; the link leads to the article on its site. No article text is copied here. The headlines come from the French press and stay in French on the English site.
On a team page, the feed only covers men's football: the club's other sports and women's football are left out, based on the feed category, the article address and its headline. Women's teams deserve their own section, not half of this one: it will come.
Player portraits
The photo of the Paris player of the week comes from Sportmonks, and from TheSportsDB when Sportmonks does not know the player. If neither knows him, the card shows his initials.
What the site does not show
- No photos taken from social media.
- No article from another outlet copied or rewritten: only its headline and a link.
What about AI?
For now, no content on the site is produced by AI. When that changes, each piece of content concerned will say so, and no sensitive information (transfers, injuries, bans) will be published without a human review.
